Shipping policy
When will my order be delivered?
We try to get your order to you as soon as possible, so that you can enjoy those delicious Kneiters. We usually ship all packages once a week on Thursday. If you have placed your order on Wednesday evening before 9:00 PM, it will still be included in Thursday’s shipment. We aim to deliver your packageIf you place your order before 9pm, we aim to deliver it the next day. There is no delivery on Sundays and you can only expect your order on Monday. After you have placed your order, you will immediately receive an order confirmation email from us. We will then get to work as soon as possible to offer your order to PostNL. As soon as the package has been offered, you will immediately receive a track & trace code in your email so that you can track the shipment. If your order consists of more than one shipment, these two or more boxes may not be delivered at the same time.
Delivery by PostNL
Thanks to the track & trace code that you receive by email, you can keep an eye on when you can expect your order. The packages are offered at your front door by PostNL. If you are not at home at that time, the packages will be delivered to the nearest PostNL point. You will again receive an email with the information where you can pick it up.
ID check upon receipt of your order
Have your ID card, passport or driver’s license ready when you receive your order. The PostNL deliverer will carry out an ID check to check whether you are over 18 years old. Did you buy the package for someone else who is not older than 18 or are you not at home yourself, but your children under 18 are? Then the PostNL courier will unfortunately take the order back.
Shipping costs
Our beers are not just heavy on the alcohol, so that weighs quite a bit. That’s why you pay €7.99 shipping costs on all orders up to €50. We ship for free on all orders over €50! We use sturdy, large and secure boxes to ship your order as safely as possible and without breakage.
Shipping delay
We all know it by now. More and more is being bought online and so more and more packages have to be delivered. Add to that the staff shortage and you will soon run into a delay. Has your order been shipped, but have you not received it yet? Please be patient: sometimes the carrier takes a few days to deliver an order instead of 48 hours. If you have not received anything after a week, please contact us. You can also track the status of your order at any time with the track & trace code you have received from us.
Delivery time slots
Unfortunately, it is not possible to choose a delivery time for your order. In the unlikely event that you are not at home at the time when PostNL delivers, you can always pick it up at the nearest PostNL point. You can always check the status of your delivery with the Track&trace e-mail.
Sometimes something goes wrong during the shipment
Brouwerij de Kneiter and PostNL do everything they can to deliver your order as quickly and neatly as possible, but sometimes something goes wrong. If this is the case, we will work on a solution. In that case, please contact info@kneiter.net directly
I made a mistake with the delivery address! Can I still adjust this?
Usually we can no longer change the delivery address after you have placed an order with us. You can always email us if you want to change the delivery address. We will let you know if this is still possible, although the chance is often small. This has to do with the warehouse starting to collect your order as soon as possible in order to be able to send it out for you on time. Therefore, always check carefully which delivery address you enter.
Post NL came by but I was not at home, what now?
If no one is at home, or if no adult is able to receive the products, the delivery person will deliver the package to the nearest Post-NL delivery point. You can pick up the package there, but the aforementioned age check also applies there.
Delivery outside the Netherlands
We do not (yet) deliver beers abroad. As soon as we go, we will announce this via our website and social media channels.
The billing address is incorrect, can I change this?
Unfortunately it is not possible to change the billing address after ordering.
